5.30 - 8.00 pm and the kids are walking around with their fantastic costumes(there has been putting some effort into those), saying "trick-or-treat" & "Happy Halloween", getting a treat (a candy) in the houses where the porch light is on, and parents waiting in the streets. A different tradition of Halloween, a nice one, I liked it, it wasn't overwhelming and to much. It was perfect :) ! All the kids were so cute !! We saw a Thomas train, as in the picture above, sooooooo cuuute !

I've just had an interesting English assignment and a discussion in German class ! Will be right back with more information :) <3

Sandy has leaved us and we saw the sun for the first time in 4 days this morning - wonderful :) ! But she also leaved some cold degrees; around 45 F - 8 C compared to last week which had as high as 80 F- 25 C
School was closed Monday and we started 2 hours later today(tuesday)
It was constantly raining Saturday through Monday(so its not as bad as NY!!), and we stayed inside the whole time;
Looked at movies(Super 8, Love,Peace&Misunderstanding, The Lion King 2, Sherlock Holmes, The Interpreter), carved pumpkins, began scrapbooking(which is a HUUUUUUGE project), looked at the weather channel and being chocked and thankful how good and little Sandy hit us. Looked at destroyed beach houses just at the beach where we have our beach house and be so thankful that we dont have our house just at the beach-beach.

so it is beginning to get worse weather  here too, compared to the latest week
 Here its been in the 80´s, which means shorts, sunglasses and tank tops :P ! - wonderful !

Are spending my Saturday and Sunday with Stine and Dad at the beach house in Corolla, Outer Banks, North Carolina. It is about 3 hours south from Virginia Beach an this is the place where we "take a chill pill" and take some time off!!

I just came home from Buffalo, New York(state), Niagara Falls, Canada, outlet shopping, pottery painting, movies, "hygge" (danish), the fall, fresh and cold air, corn maze, and an awesome visit of one of our sisters with mum and Stine.

Niagara Falls was awesome and fascinating, and we walked over a bridge, crossed the US border to Canada and spent some eating hours in Canda ! So now I've been in Canada - amazing ;)

Thursdag - Bonfire
event on the school, with a fire ( kinda disappointment compared to the 1st May fire back home), fun activities, music(=dance) and people having fun.

Friday - Pep rally & game
Pep rally - All students got together in the gym, devided in the grades(class of 2013 - seniors,2014 - juniors ,2015 - sophomores or 2016 -Freshman) , competitions, cheerleading show, fashion show and a lot of screaming and cheering.

game - we are big losers 7-38 ! but it was fun enough !

Saturday - homecoming dance
but first some scrapbook shopping :)
and then dinner at Benni´s house and off to the school and it´s cafeteria for some dance.
(the Halloween house is Bella´s (a chinese exchangestudent))

Svullnaden har gått ner i foten och det känns bättre (tror jag), uppdatering om vad som verkligen händer denna veckan kommer senare i helgen, + en massa härliga bilder och svar på frågor ! I know you can't wait ;) ! <3

Full späckad men otroligt bra helg ! :) 
Lördagen bestod av YFU orientation, fick träffa alla YFU.are i detta området. kvällen bestod av bowling och sleepover !
På söndagen var vi på Neptune Festival, vilket är en festival de har varje år, då de firar att turisterna åkt hem ;) festivalen var i Virginia Beach vi bor en bit ifrån själva stranden och VB centrum, så vi fick se VB - beach för första gången, semester året runt och mysigt som bara den.

Löparskorna ligger halvt på hyllan, foten har varit svullen ett tag, men gick först till "läkar-tränaren" (på skolan) idag...
Det är spirit week och varje dag har ett teman varje dag och veckan avslutas med bonfire, pep rally och homecoming (förklaringar kommer)
